ABIS Mission Statement

Acquired Brain Injury Survivors of Southeast Louisiana (ABIS) is dedicated to providing a comforable arena for persons with brain injurines, as well as their family and caregivers.

Part of this mission is suggesting resources and organizations as well as distributing information. ABIS hopes to become more involved in outreach about brain injury prevention and public education and awareness. A large part of ABIS non-profit mission is providing a safe environmet for a sense of belonging and reinforcing of sense of self-worth.

Our members share challenges and soutions, as well as understanding and coping with what is largely as ”invisible injury”.
